Wow...Prom was so AWESOME! I can't even explain how much fun I had! It's honestly a night loaded with memories I'll never forget! Sarah Robinson was my date, and I can't describe how amazing she looked. When I walked into her house and finally saw her, my jaw must've dropped, and I didn't care who was around, I basically yelled how beautiful she looked. We took many pictures! Her place (putting on the coursage and boutineer, and pictures of us in the garden), at my place, and cocktails...and PROM! Cocktails was awesome! Seeign everyone was awesome! Then, when we went to Prom, it looked awesome! We sat at our table and took pics for a little bit, then went to the pool table room and everything, and took our professional picture that looks amazing. Yeah, after a good meal (I was actually impressed), the good music started, and everyone was on the dance floor. That was great! We danced all night, the way we'd do in clubs too. We grinded, 2-stepped, slow danced, and just danced normally together. Yeah, trust me, us two can dance!!!;) And sadly, the Prom came to an end...so then...PARTY! We went to Ally's, but is was too wet and cold. So after about an hour, Sarah and I took off to go to Cunningham's, with himself, Amanda, and Matt McKay. Yeah, I admit, we got hammered...but it was a fun night! It's a once in a lifetime thing, and I wanted to make it fun! So, we drank in the hot-tub (it's always fun, but not always a good idea:P). So yeah, that's that...but a lot funner than it sounds! The memories will always be with me. I thank Sarah though for giving me the funnest time ever. She's the most amazing person to me! So yes, I hope everyone else had this much fun, because it is a night that comes only once in your life when u actually graduate! And oh yeah, Grad tomorrow night! I guess there's going to be more partying!

       One of my close cousins, Derick Cardinal, died this Wednesday, Febuary 22nd, 2006 at around 4:15 AM, at the age of 22, 23 in April. He, along with my cousin Sylvain, were like my big brothers. I've been with them all the time for the last 4 summers. We've had many fun times and memories. I'm going to miss him so much. The reason why he died was a bit confusing, and not expected, but only happened because he was under the influence of alcohol. He was walking down Lac St. Francois near Coteau-Du-Lac, and they we're getting close to the edge where you could actually stand beside water, but they were still on the ice. He decided to check the durability of the ice, and he fell through. His friend, unable to grab him, told him to continue swimming and fast as he could, but the current was too strong since he was near the hydro dam. They have not found his body yet and the divers called off the search on Thursday at around 3:00 PM. We hope that we find his body so that we can put a closure to his death. These are very hard times and we need your help and support. I miss him and I will for the rest of my days.
       I don't for sure know what his personal decision with Christ was, although this summer I had a talk with him about it. I just hope he made the right choice before he left us. I ask you for many prayers, because even I'm going through a really hard and hurtful time. I pray that God help us, and heal us. I ask that He put's His hand upon our whole family, expecially Derick's family (His mom and dad, and 3 brothers), and taht we find his body ASAP so that his family doesn't put hope and doubt through their minds about it. And I hope Lord, that he is with you, Derick was an awesome person, someone that made people laugh and enjoy themselves, and was always there when you needed to talk. I'm glad I took the chance to get to know him a lot better and hang out and have a lot more fun this summer. We had a blast, and many memories. I only got to really really get close with him this summer because we didn't as much in the past because of the age difference...but I know since I was starting to go through what he and everyone else goes through as an adult, it brought us closer. These dreadful times hurt so much.
